Using GoToManage®

GoToManage is a search engine for IT that specializes in searching the complex and varied data of IT networks, and in returning rich data reports in table and chart formats, as well as simple text hit lists.

Here's what you can do with GoToManage's core ingredients:

Remote Support — You can provide both live support to your customers, and access and control unattended computers and servers remotely. This remote support functionality and GoToManage's proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities make a powerful combination for managing any IT environment.

Monitoring — You can inventory and manage all your devices, servers, and networks. Get set up in minutes, easily discover everything connected to your network, and monitor key servers in real time.

Dashboard — You can view the information that the Crawler collected through dashboards on your browser. Customize your Dashboard (your GoToManage home page) to display the data that's most important to you up top. The Dashboard Help page describes how to add apps and wikis to customize your dashboard, how to save multiple dashboards, and how to publish them so others can use them, too.

Application — You can add apps such as the Network Map to your Dashboard. Manage the GoToManage extensions: applications, plug-ins, or add-ons that mash up with GoToManage. Install and uninstall them from your Application page, and add them to customize your Dashboard.

Crawler — Find out how to search your data directly from your GoToManage Crawler, how to reconfigure the Crawler, start, pause, and stop it, and more.

Search — You can retrieve the information that the Crawler collected through searches and queries on your browser. You can search it, ask it questions, and save the results in text hit lists and rich table, chart, and graph formats.
